XS – The Gantry Milestone

The XS high-speed gantry machining centre has been a technological benchmark in the sector for over 25 years. Equipped with TTM technology on the X-axis for feedrates up to 80 m/min, it combines high dynamics with precision, even on large components. Its advanced thermo-stabilisation system ensures extreme accuracy in environments with temperature fluctuations.

The XS can be configured with an automatic head changer or electrospindle changer and offers multiple working configurations: dual zone, dual RAM, and dual gantry. Integration with milling/turning tables and pallet-changing systems significantly improves flexibility. Similar capabilities are available in the SPEEDLINER model, which is equipped with linear motors on all axes.

ACTIVE: High Speed, High Surface Quality

ACTIVE FIVE, a fixed portal moving table machining centre by OMV, is ideal for machining spars, ribs, beams, landing gears, and skins. Its compact, rigid structure, combined with linear motors and a two-axis head, enables 5-axis machining with feedrates up to 60 m/min. The result is a perfect balance of speed, precision, and stability, significantly reducing cycle times.

Motor Components: Performance Without Compromise

UNIKA – One Machine, Many Solutions

UNIKA BLADE and UNIKA BLISK are Gruppo Parpas’ solutions for producing critical jet engine components. The machine’s core features a full linear motor system, enabling feedrates up to 60 m/min and high-quality surface machining.

The mobile column structure maintains rigidity during high-speed machining, while 3- or 5-axis capability and a wide range of electrospindles (produced in-house since 1999) ensure flexibility and reliability. These optimisations reduce cycle times by up to 30% compared to alternative systems.

For other motor components such as cases, diffusers, air intakes, and lipskins, Gruppo Parpas offers DIAMOND and ROLLER models, suitable for various dimensions and geometries.

Integrated Predictive Quality: DRONEX
