With a heritage dating back to the 1950s, the legendary Blaník L13 glider remains an iconic name in Czechoslovak aviation. Today, Blanik Aircraft continues this legacy through modern precision engineering and high-performance aerospace production.
To support the demanding requirements of the aviation sector, Blanik Aircraft implemented the FERMAT BUBR 50/3000 CNC cylindrical grinder. Designed for precision grinding of complex components, the machine provides excellent repeatability, machining stability and high-accuracy performance across a range of aerospace applications.
The BUBR 50/3000 CNC features a 500 mm swing diameter and 3,000 mm grinding length capacity, making it suitable for larger shaft and rotational components. The machine also incorporates advanced CNC control and automated B-axis technology to support flexible and efficient grinding operations.
The project highlights the collaboration between two respected Czech engineering companies, combining aerospace manufacturing expertise with advanced grinding technology.
