XS is the result of more than twenty-five years of technological evolution applied to gantry machining centres. Advanced Gantry Architecture and Structural Solutions
At the core of XS lies a gantry structure engineered to deliver rigidity and geometric stability across the entire working area. The machine features a third guideway with a flexo-torsional stabiliser, a solution designed to actively control structural deformation and maintain axis alignment even during the high accelerations typical of high-speed machining.
This is complemented by a structural thermal stabilisation system, developed to minimise thermal influences and ensure consistent accuracy regardless of cycle duration or environmental conditions.
TTM Technology: Controlled Dynamics, Consistent Accuracy
A distinctive feature of XS is the integration of TTM technology on the longitudinal axis. Developed in-house by Gruppo Parpas, this solution enables extremely smooth and controlled movements, enhancing the machine’s dynamic response whilst reducing vibrations and micro-oscillations.
The result is superior surface quality combined with repeatability that remains consistent even during the most complex machining operations.
