This double travelling column, fixed table machining centre has been designed to minimise floor space whilst providing the user with a cost effective product that guarantees a high level of performance and productivity. In this configuration, the table is located and fixed into the floor and a machine height of only 4.9M makes it perfect for a manufacturing facility with a low ceiling.

The indexable 5-face cutter head is standard and the flexibility of the MCW-4624 can be further enhanced when adding additional options such as an integrated rotary /turning table, 5-axis head, extended travel and other automatically loaded attachments. All of the main components-columns, crossrail, spindle head and table are cast in Toshiba's own foundry to guarantee high quality. The latest technology integrated within the Toshiba Tosnuc PX100 PC based control, together with 25 M/min rapid rates and its high torque spindle makes this machine ideal for both high speed machining and high metal removal in industries such as aerospace, power generation, construction and transportation.
