This year, Kitamura have announced three new machines tools that will be released in these upcoming months and with already offering a wide range of quality machine tools, vertical machining centres, double column machining centres and horizontal machining centres. Kitamura is also celebrating its’ 85th year of manufacturing and focusing solely on machining centres.

The newest vertical machining centre is the Mycenter-3020G, this machine is a super compact machining centre offers high precision and optimum performance. Designed to deliver maximum performance with a 180 degree rotating 2-pallet system.

A new 5-axis machining centre has been added to the series of machine, the Mytrunnion-2G. This Mytrunnion-2G is perfect for high precision 5-axis machining with a rigid built in Trunnion style tilting table allowing a rotary table size of Ø220mm and a full table length of 500 x 300mm. This machine offers manufacturers a 40 ATC with an option of 90 with a tool to tool change of 2.5 seconds. The flexible configuration allows the user to have a conveyor either on the left or the right hand side of this small footprint machine tool. This machine will be demonstrated at this year’s IMTS in September.

Finally, the second 5-axis machining centre to be added the range is the Kitamura Medcenter-5AX, a compact full 5-axis simultaneous machining centre. This machine is perfect for machining small medical, aerospace and automotive parts. This impressive machine has the smallest footprint with a space saving design of 2M x 1.2M, a maximum workpiece size Ø180 x 175mm, a spindle speed of 30,000rpm and 40ATC.
